Carolinum Guided Tour

Carolinum, a national cultural monument and the historic main seat of Charles University, has been owned by the university since 1383. Located in the heart of Prague’s Old Town, it once served as a residence for professors teaching and living in the capital, as well as the official seat of the rector and other academic leaders. Today, it functions as the university's primary ceremonial venue and houses many of the rectorate's offices.
