Advent excursion to NUREMBERG

The Nuremberg Christmas market is 400 years old and one of the most popular in Europe. It first took place back in 1628. More than 200 stands in the city centre, with trees full of Christmas decorations and lights and, last but not least, half-timbered houses and the atmosphere of this ancient city ensure a true Christmas atmosphere. It is said that the most beautiful Christmas decorations can be bought at the market, where only traditional goods made of classic materials such as glass, wood, textiles, etc. can be sold.

Date of excursion: Saturday, 30 November 2024

Departure from Prague: Main Station (Hlavní nádraží) (car park above the station) at 6:00 (pick-up in Pilsen also possible on request)

Arrival in Nuremberg: approx. 10:00

Departure from Nuremberg: approx. 18:00.

Return to Prague: approx. 22:00. The bus will return to the same place at the Main Station as it departed from in the morning.

Price: 690.- CZK (includes transport; all participants must take out their own travel insurance)

Participants can also take people with them who are not employees of Charles University.

If the capacity of the bus is not filled, the excursion will be cancelled and the full amount will be refunded.

Registration for the excursion is open until 14 November 2024 HERE FROM 15.11. ONLY AS REPLACEMENTS!

Registered applicants will receive confirmation of the excursion on 15 November and payment information by 22 November 2024.
