This lecture presents selected specifics of the Czech legal system that foreign students are likely to encounter during their stay. Its aim is to provide them with the necessary information and make their time in the Czech Republic as smooth as possible.
In particular, it covers tenancy agreements (rights and obligations, lease and sublease agreements, termination of tenancy, etc.), key aspects of employment law (agreements on work outside employment, termination of employment, probationary periods, etc.), visas and residence permits, employment cards, and more.
