On the occasion of World Blood Donor Day, we invite you to a volunteer event that can literally save lives.

On Monday, 15 June 2026, a temporary blood donation site will be set up at CU Point (Celetná 13), where employees, academic staff, and students of Charles University will have the opportunity to donate blood in a safe and professional environment.

The event is organized in cooperation with the General University Hospital in Prague and is part of a broader effort to support blood donation, which has been in long-term shortage in the Czech Republic.

Join us! Donating blood only takes a short time, but it can mean a lifetime for someone else.

The event is intended for employees, academic staff, and students of Charles University.
