Stages in Academic English

The workshop will guide participants through the stages of writing a scientific text, starting with a project and a structured outline and ending with final editing. Depending on the interest of the participants, we will focus more intensely on selected problems, e. g. how to develop effective writing habits, how to structure the text well and to convey the information clearly, how to follow the English academic writing style at the sentence level by wording sentences concisely and by formulating ideas precisely, how to separate generating of the text from editing, or how to overcome blocks to writing.
