On Wednesday, April 23, to mark Earth Day, we teamed up with the Pučmeloud student association to build insect hotels on the FHS campus, accompanied by a lecture on insects in urban environments.
During the afternoon, we successfully built five insect hotels, which we then placed on trees around the FHS campus. The goal was to support local biodiversity and provide insects with a safe and peaceful place to live or overwinter. The work went smoothly, and we enjoyed spending time outdoors in a pleasant and meaningful way.
