Charles University Christmas Party

THE EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO BAD EPIDEMIOLOGICAL SITUATION!!!

The Christmas gathering for all CU employees and members of CU Alumni Club takes place on December 1, from 4 pm to 7 pm, at the CU Rectorate courtyard, near the chestnut tree. There is no need to register, just come and enjoy Czech traditions in company with Charles University crowd!

Programme:

• Light show

• Christmas carols with children´s choir hLásky

• Piano concert

Tanita Yankova is a Bulgarian pianist, singer and composer born in Prague. She graduated from the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory,

majoring in piano. She performs in theatre productions and composes music primarily for theatre. She also likes to experiment with rap

and electronic music. Together with Ahmad Hedar, they form an artistic duo that performs Bulgarian and Arabic folk songs.

• Art workshops for children - creative activities of various kinds (decorating, making things)

• Tea, hot wine, Christmas sweets, pastry and other goodies (some for free, some paid)

• Science Slam academic and research performances in the stand-up comedy format*

  You will be offered a cocktail of technology and politics consisting of technology in practice, techniques and expertise to achieve

  political goals in times of Cold War.
