As every year, this year we are also trying to support a good cause in which students and employees could get involved. This time, for CU Point, we decided to support the non-profit organization Jako doma a Šatník with a collection of clothes.

The non-profit organization Jako doma primarily deals with female homelessness. In the long term, they work, for example, on eliminating the inequalities faced by women with the experience of homelessness, or on creating conditions for using the potential of women in social distress / homeless. Donations in the form of hygiene items or underwear can help women secure the basic conditions for a dignified and healthier life.

The Šatník Fund helps single-parent families who can come to the premises of the Prague Market to choose what they need completely free of charge. Šatník has become one of the largest mediators of direct humanitarian aid in the Czech Republic, and like us at UK, he also believes in recycling and the circular economy.

clothes (clean and preserved),

cosmetics (can be opened but not expired),

underwear (socks, panties, bras of all sizes),

hygiene supplies (pads, tampons, razors),

backpacks, suitcases, sleeping bags, tents,

telephones (button, touch, older, but above all functional)

11. 4. from 10.30 to 16.30 and 12. 4. from 10.00 to 15.00.
