Building birdhouses – Earth day with the Charles Uni

Come to celebrate Earth Day with the Volunteer Centre!

We will build and install birdhouses together in the area of the MFF UK in Troja.

All students and staff are invited to the event, which takes place on Monday, April 22, 2024 from 3 PM o approximately 6 PM.

Together we will build simple wooden birdhouses, which we will then hang on trees in the Trója area. This will support local biodiversity and the presence and safety of local birds.

On April 22nd we will meet at 3 PM at V Holešovičkách 747/2, 180 00 Prague 8 in front of the entrance hall of the auditorium building of the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics Troja "T" .

It is recommended you have clothing suitable for outdoor work, outdoor shoes and water with you.

Tools and materials for the birdhouses will be provided.

The event is organized in cooperation with the Brontosaurus organization. Light manual labour is involved, but we hope that everyone will find something to do and enjoy a nice afternoon together in nature.
