Study and Internships Abroad for Ph.D. Candidates

Completing part of one’s studies at an institution abroad for at least one month is often included in the Individual Study Plan (ISP). International experience is essential for doctoral students not only for developing their academic careers but also for building international networks. But how can you navigate the available opportunities? When are the application deadlines throughout the year, how is mobility funded, and how should an internship be properly recorded in SIS?

Charles University offers a wide range of opportunities. The Charles Abroad coordinator will introduce the available programs, including Erasmus+, scholarship stays, and other grant opportunities. She will explain where to find clear information and how to navigate the range of international programs for doctoral candidates effectively. Drawing on students’ experiences, she will also highlight the most common challenges associated with international mobility and offer advice on how to overcome them.

Come and hear practical tips that will make planning your stay abroad easier!
