E-mail Communication

This workshop aims to offer the CU employees an opportunity to refresh their writing skills. Participants will also be presented with various email forms, language functions, phrases and useful expressions.

During the presentation, the participants will get an overview of different text types, demonstration of phrases, grammar and forms in the context of email writing. The seminar will also focus on the differences between formal and informal style, writing dates and abbreviations, introductory phrases and expressions, communication of the main message, reacting and answering questions, action reactions, apologies, etc. There will also be part on the most common mistakes (grammar, phrases, spelling). At the end of the session, there will be time for questions and discussion.
