Ph.D. life can be rewarding, but also challenging, overwhelming, and, well... sometimes it just sucks.

Let's not only admit it, but focus on the concrete, everyday challenges Ph.D. researchers face. Join the first session of the PhD Meet & Share series, this time focused on perfectionism.

What can you expect? We start with a 20-minute introduction to the topic. Then you can join the conversation, share your own experience, or offer your perspective. Grab a coffee (or tea, obviously) and some biscuits, meet other Ph.D. researchers and discover new perspectives — all in an informal and friendly atmosphere.

And just to be clear: This is not a therapy session. It's about sharing, networking, elements of group coaching, mutual support, and taking a little break.

Instructor

Mgr. Petra Kučerová Konupková is a lecturer and a coach in career, communication and self-development. She has been developing her expertise at CU Point, designing and teaching soft-skills workshops for Ph.D. candidates. Her journey into soft skills began during her studies at Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem and at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität in Freiburg and continues at the Charles University rectorate. Always curious, she seeks out new and practical topics that address today's challenges. Beyond academia, she enjoys speaking at pop-cultural events such as the Fantasy Festival and Comic-Con in Prague.
