Short Trip out of Town: Karlštejn Castle

Explore the legendary castle near Prague that once housed the crown jewels of Charles IV, the very founder of our university!

The castle is set up in a picturesque landscape. Therefore, we will do a short hike from Hlásná Třebaň to Karlštejn Castle. At the end of the hike, the beautiful view from the cover picture will unfold before us and we will try typical Czech hiking snacks together. Fun facts about the castle and its connection with our university are guaranteed. Come to get out of Prague with other students for an afternoon!

We will meet in front of the entrance of the NeoLuxor bookstore at Praha Hlavní nádraží (Main Train Station). HERE is a link to the exact location.

We will meet at 1:55 PM on Thursday, April 30. The event ends at 6:00 PM.

Please bring your ISIC and Lítačka cards, as you will get a train discount if you have the cards with you.
