Resilience & Burnout Syndrome: How to Retain Energy & Motivation

A Ph.D. is not a sprint but a long run, which makes it all the more important to focus on preventing burnout—research, teaching, writing articles, working, and still trying to have a personal life. When the load gets too heavy, fatigue, frustration, and sometimes even a loss of motivation can follow.

In this session, we will examine what gives you energy, what drains it, and how to sustain yourself over the long run. Together, we’ll share experiences, recognise early warning signs, and explore practical ways to take care of yourself before overload takes over.

You’ll also set a concrete action step to help you manage the demands of your Ph.D. with greater ease.

This meeting is one of the three-session academic coaching. All of the workshops could be participated in separately.
