The course will provide you with important information for your stay in the Czech Republic - especially during the first months upon your arrival. You may ask questions concerning your residence legislation, visas, employment, housing, health insurance etc. The course is financed by the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic and is intended for newly arrived foreigners from non-EU countries.

Loneliness in a new country: what can I do?

During this workshop, we will focus on the strategies for adapting to a new country and building relationships in a new environment while still maintaining relationships with family and friends in one's homeland. Creating new relationship in a new country with a new culture could be challenging. We will give you some advice on how to cope with feelings of sadness and loneliness after leaving one's family and friends behind.

University students are sometimes not aware that their study difficulties are caused by dyslexia as they managed to compensate the difficulties by their high cognitive abilities at elementary and secondary school. Impress with your CV

STUDENTS

As part of the Fit & Smart Student framework, this event is designed especially for our Bachelor's and Master's students.

The aim of this seminar is to familiarize students with the basic principles of preparing a high-quality curriculum vitae. However, the CV is not the only document you send together with your application. Oftentimes, you are also required to send a cover letter or a letter of recommendation. Therefore, our seminar will also include proper strategies of relating your CV to these other documents. Most importanlty, everything will be shown on specific examples from the real life.
