Working While Studying in the Czech Republic: Ask a Lawyer!

Working abroad triggers many questions, and if you wonder what the working conditions for international students living in the Czech Republic are, this workshop is for you. We will focus on:

  • What are the legal requirements?

  • What are the types of job contracts?

  • What are your rights in terms of salary, working hours and other working conditions?

  • What if there are any issues between you and the employer?

  • Can you continue working after finishing your studies?

We invite you to an online discussion with Jakub Tomšej from the Department of Labor and Social Security Law, the Faculty of Law, Charles University, who also practices labour and employment law. During the event, Jakub will provide a practical and comprehensible summary of applicable local regulations and give you the floor to raise any questions.
