Academic Writing in English

The course of academic writing is a series of three webinars about correct phrasing and the formation of academic texts in English. Students are going to learn the specifics and requirements which are typical for academic writing. Moreover, they will be able to use appropriate vocabulary.

The first session will be focused on the introduction of academic texts. It is taking place on 31st May from 17:00 to 18:30 via ZOOM.

Further meetings are held on 14th June and 21st June always from 17:00 to 18:30 via ZOOM as well.

Out of the mentioned dates, the students have an opportunity for individual consultation of their texts with the lecturer (ca. 20 minutes) by prior arrangement on the first meeting.

The lecturer is Mgr. Šárka Kadlecová, Ph.D., head of the English section in Language Centre at Faculty of Arts CU.
