The Prague Folk and Blues Club is a place to share, learn, and play easy and intermediate songs from various countries.

Enjoy an informal setup with no obligation to play or lead
It's a circle where you take turns leading a song (or passing if you don't want to lead)
Get to know amateur and semi-professional musicians who love to practice and share
All acoustic instruments are welcome
We meet in a cozy and heated cafe/club, Dejvická klubovna.
The next open jam session will take place on Saturday, December 20, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Our group began to play together a few months ago. Steve, a guitar player from Canada, met Richard in the Hybernská Campus. Steve established groups that play acoustic instruments in the Southern America, Canada, and Eastern Asia, and would like to do something similar here. A member of the core of the group is Dennis, a musician from Italy, who is very flexible in jamming. Steve always has "full packets" of easy songs for 5 chords at maximum, which are easy to follow. You're very welcome to join our jam session! |
