Step into Czech history with the Democracy Walk—an interactive guided tour through key Prague locations tied to Václav Havel, the Velvet Revolution, and the rise of Czech democracy. Led by Joshua Hayden, a leadership expert from Anglo-American University, the walk includes live scenes from absurdist plays written by Czechoslovak dissidents, historical photos, and handouts. You’ll visit iconic sites like the Dancing House, Bartolomějská Street, Na Zábradlí Theatre, Lucerna, and Wenceslas Square. A powerful introduction to Czech democratic history and life under communism.
We will meet at the Národní třída tram station, right in front of the shopping mall. The organizer will hold a black umbrella, even though it won't be raining:)
The event is going to take place at 2 PM. It will take approximately 3 hours.
