Do you encounter people experiencing strong emotions such as crying, anger, or anxiety, and feel unsure how to help them effectively? Participants of this course will learn what a crisis is, what triggers it, and how it manifests in behavior, thinking, and emotions. The webinar introduces basic techniques for helping a person in crisis. Participants will gain a theoretical understanding of how to manage acute stress reactions and what to do in cases of long-term psychological difficulties.
